Harbor Island lies in the southwest part of the city of Seattle. It is a typical industrial compound where incoming ships offload cargo for the city and is populated by cranes, containers, railways and silos. The largest space is managed by the Shell petroleum company and its hundreds of oil silos that store incoming fuel before it is redistributed.
It is a wonderful place to take pictures where humans intersect with nature.
